The Appersoft Solution
The Intellor team have been seasoned users of the Zoho suite and had been using Zoho CRM for quite a few years. Being experienced users, the sales department wanted to fine-tune the existing CRM to segregate information across diverse channels and teams. The aim was to enable the salesperson and their managers to view the customer records and corresponding deals only as relevant to their team and channel.
A seemingly simple task, the complexity lay in implementing this in a live CRM being used daily by 60+ users. The CRM also synchronizes information regularly between other Zoho and non-Zoho products and hence it was critical that none of this was impacted. To achieve this, the Appersoft team added a layer of careful enhancements into the CRM module structure and connected it with the security control settings. By using the in-built CRM functionality, everything could be easily automated without modifying any pre-existing data.
The project was a big success, with the enhanced setup working exactly as required for not just the individual teams but across the organisation hierarchy. A vital part of this was due to the initial direction from Maggie Logan, VP Customer Success. Maggie had a keen understanding of how each team operated and knew exactly what would work for each team. Using her inputs, the Appersoft development team designed an optimal solution and an implementation strategy. The project schedule was critical for the success, such as pre-agreement on milestone dates for testing and final go-live. With both teams adhering to the same plan and towards a common goal, there were no last-minute surprises nor any disruptions in the day-to-day company operations. The final deployment fit into the existing CRM like the last puzzle piece and continues to run like clockwork!
